- The Cissna Park Community Unit School District #6 in cooperation with
Lincoln Trail Libraries System was the pilot site during fiscal year 1990-91
for a model combined school and public library. Residents of the potential
library district voted in April 1991 in favor of establishing the Cissna
Park Community Library District. The public library contracts with the
school district for space; the school and public cooperate as part of the
LTLS online catalog system.
