Please join the staff of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Conservation Lab at an open house honoring the opening of their new space at the Oak Street Facility (1816 South Oak Street, Champaign) on September 14 from 2-5.  This new facility, which is over 5000 square feet of space, features state of the art equipment including wet room and a vault to store rare materials.  For further information, please contact Jennifer Hain Teper at (217) 244-5689.

Nominations Sought for ILA Elections: The ILA Nominating Committee invites you to submit names of candidates for the ILA Executive Board and Vice-President/President Elect.  The Nominating Committee will select two candidates to run for each of four Director-at-Large and the Vice Presidential seats.  Members who wish to make nominations should submit the following
information: nominee name; present position; institution; address;
telephone; fax; and e-mail address.  Self-nominations are encouraged. All potential nominees will be asked to complete a Potential Candidate
Biographical Form that will be emailed to them.  Membership in the Illinois Library Association is a requirement.

This is a temporary position. Tuesday and Thursdays, 2-5 p.m. Qualification: Experience using computers and the Internet; interest in and, preferable, experience in working with young teens; flexible schedule.
