Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield on June 8, 2006
- itinerary: 7:45 a.m. - leave LTLS 9:15 a.m. - Museum self-guided tour (approximately 2.5 hours) Lunch on your own 2:00 p.m. - Library tour conducted by library staff 5:00 p.m. - estimated return to LTLS CLaSS registration fee is $35.50; non-subscriber fee is $45.50. This covers transportation costs only. Museum tickets are $5.50. Pay the registration fee in advance or on June 8. If not enough registrations are received to cover costs, Lincoln Trail reserves the right to cancel the trip by May 19, 2006. Any monies received will be refunded or credited to your account. The photo could be of the outside of your building or of something inside your library, preferably with no people in the picture. LTLS also welcomes photos of special events in your library to be included in the photo album on the Web site. In that case, please include people!! |

The full-day session will focus on issues relevant to elementary, middle, and high school librarians. Potential topics range from collaboration, educational mandates, intellectual property, literacy, management, and technology. More details will be provided soon. | 2006 - 202 | Registration is now open for the Second Annual Community as Intellectual Space Symposium in Chicago, presented by the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois and the Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Chicago. The symposium will start mid-afternoon Friday, June 16, and end Sunday, June 18, after lunch. Registration fee, which includes some meals, is $75.
