If you are looking for ways to provide better services to the growing diverse population in our communities, the diversity forum: "Libraries and Communities Building Bridges: An Inter-cultural Dialogue" is the perfect event for you.  This free forum will be held at the Effingham Hilton Garden Inn on April 24, 2006, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  Speakers and panelists from community organizations, universities, community colleges, and libraries will share experiences that strengthen ties and help us build cross-cultural awareness. The keynote speaker for this forum is Rajmohan Ghandi, an author and well known human-rights activist.  His books include Revenge and Reconciliation, a biography of his grandfather, the Mahatma Gandhi.  Share this information with co-workers, community members, and friends--all are welcome.  Registration for this exciting, free event is online at http://www.librarydiversity.info/ce.html
