| 2005 - 121 | ISBN RE-DIRECTED SEARCHES |
| If you are working with Baker & Taylor to set up Title
Source in your library and you want to check LINC before ordering a title,
there is a search string that can be used to do a quick search in LINCPac
from Title Source. Here is the string that can be used to query LINCPac: http://lincpac.lincolntrail.info:8080/ipac20/ipac.jsp?&profile=xxx&index=ISBNEX&term= (where xxx is your library's agency code) When configured correctly in your Title Source account, this search string executes a search and finds the isbn of the bib record in LINC. You can then look at the copies to see if your library already owns the item. | |
