Is your school or library currently receiving discounts on telecommunications costs through the federal government’s Universal Service Discount program? If not, the window for application is still open. The deadline for filing the first form, Form 470, is January 19, 2005. Telecommunications discounts for schools and libraries can range from 20-80%. Information on the complete application process is available at: http://www.sl.universalservice.org/menu.asp.

2005 - 004 CATALOGING CENTER ORPHANS
Occasionally, items are sent to the LTLS Cataloging Center without property stamps. Although every effort is made to identify who owns the item, we still have orphan materials that can’t be identified. The LTLS web site, http://www.ltls.org/cataloging/orphanmaterials.html, lists some recently-added orphans. Please check this site regularly and claim items that may belong to you.
